Technical Audits
We deliver honest, actionable technical audits that give you a clear picture of your technology health. From code quality to architecture to security, our audits identify risks and prioritize remediation.
We spend two to four weeks assessing your technology, then deliver a written report with prioritized findings. Every audit includes a closing presentation and a roadmap you can execute internally or with our help.
Capabilities
Code Quality Audit
Assessment of code quality, technical debt, and maintainability.
Architecture Review
Evaluation of architecture patterns, scalability, and resilience.
Security Assessment
Penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security recommendations.
Cloud Cost Optimization
Analysis of cloud spend with actionable cost reduction recommendations.
How It Comes Together
A typical software delivery architecture
Requirements, constraints, and success criteria defined with stakeholders.
System design, technology choices, and integration points mapped out.
Iterative development with automated testing at every layer.
CI/CD pipelines ship changes safely, with rollback built in.
Observability and feedback loops guide the next iteration.
In Practice
A technical audit that just lists everything wrong with a codebase is a liability report, not a plan. We prioritize findings by business impact and remediation cost, so leadership walks away with a ranked list of what to fix first, not an overwhelming inventory of every deviation from best practice. Our audits combine automated analysis, static analysis, dependency scanning, cloud cost tooling, with manual review from senior engineers who read the actual code, because automated tools miss architectural problems and generate false positives that erode trust in the findings. We're explicit about confidence level on every finding: some issues are provably broken, others are judgment calls about tradeoffs a past team made under real constraints, and the report distinguishes between them. Audits are scoped to be actionable within your team's actual capacity, a roadmap assuming six additional engineers you don't have isn't useful, and we offer to execute the highest-priority remediation ourselves if you'd rather not staff it internally. The report is written for engineers and executives both, technical enough to guide implementation, clear enough for a board update.
