Everything you need to know about working with VividLogic. Our process, engagement models, and what to expect.

We start with a discovery call to understand your goals, constraints, and context. From there we propose a scoped engagement, either a fixed-scope project or an ongoing partnership, with clear deliverables and milestones. Most engagements begin within two weeks of that first conversation.

Both. Short, well-defined bodies of work suit a fixed-scope project model. Longer partnerships, ongoing platform development, or embedded team augmentation work better on a retainer. We discuss the right structure during discovery and recommend what fits your situation.

We work across financial services, logistics, retail, healthcare, and SaaS. Our approach is industry-agnostic, what matters is the problem to be solved and the quality of the outcome. We bring domain knowledge from past engagements and learn what is specific to your organisation quickly.

From growth-stage startups to enterprise organisations with thousands of employees. We calibrate our process to the pace and governance requirements of each client. Smaller teams move fast and iteratively; larger organisations benefit from our experience navigating compliance, legacy systems, and stakeholder alignment.

You will have a named point of contact throughout the engagement. We work within your preferred tools, Slack, Teams, email, and establish a cadence of weekly updates and milestone reviews. You are never left wondering where things stand.

Every engagement concludes with a handover period covering documentation, knowledge transfer, and a period of stabilisation support. For clients who want ongoing peace of mind, we offer structured support retainers that cover monitoring, incident response, and incremental improvements.

Our teams are fluent in Python, TypeScript, Go, and Rust for application development; React, Next.js, and Astro for the web layer; dbt, Spark, and Airflow for data engineering; and PyTorch and the major LLM APIs for AI work. On infrastructure we cover AWS, GCP, and Azure with Terraform and Kubernetes. We choose the right tool for the problem, not the fashionable one.

We never recommend a full rewrite unless the evidence demands it. Our default is a strangler fig approach, incrementally replacing legacy components while keeping the existing system live. We assess risk, prioritise the highest-leverage changes, and create a migration plan that minimises disruption to your operations.

Fixed-scope projects are priced on deliverables with a clear statement of work. Retainer engagements are priced by capacity, a set number of senior-level days per month. We are transparent about scope and flag early if assumptions change. There are no hidden fees or surprise invoices.

Yes, embedded collaboration is one of our most common engagement patterns. We integrate with your existing engineers, product managers, and processes. We bring external perspective and deep specialisation without creating a dependency. Our goal is to leave your team stronger than we found it.
